Band of Horses are a five-piece band formed in Seattle have released a new album; It's very good.
They first came to my attention a few months ago when their first big hit, The Funeral, was dubbed onto a short film made from clips of mountain biking. They appeared alongside bands like Rage Against the Machine, The Sessions and Damien Marley. A top quality soundtrack which brought some great music from lots of different genres together. For me though, The Funeral really stood out as a great track from a band who I'd never heard of.
Now they are back again; And this time, they're more famous. An appearance on Jools Holland earlier this month, was their second and one which prompted their first two albums to jump into the UK Top 200 albums for the first time. They played three tracks on the full length show, below is the lead single off Infinite Arms: Compliments, taken from their performance on Jools.
