Could they be a two-hit wonder?
In this country, most people will only have heard one song by the band Train and it's always Drops of Jupiter. Well, I am happy to announce that it looks like they will have another success with their new single called Hey, Soul Sister.
Although Drops of Jupiter isn't an overtly sad song, it certainly isn't a happy song. It's a song about loss; Hey, Soul Sister is about finding.
The song starts with a Ukulele, which in my opinion is always a good place to start. Bright and fresh, not tied to the piano like their last major success. The lyrics are a little bit dirty, quite soppy, but at the same time amazingly happy. A song that can't help but lift you out of a bad mood.
Whether the song will be as much of a mainstream success as their last big hit is left to be seen, but in my opinion it is a very refreshing new angle. So, please enjoy the Youtube video below of Hey, Soul Sister by Train;
