Now, I will be first to admit that my work ethic as far as this blog is concerned faltered over the summer months. For this, I have no excuse, other than it was sunny outside, therefore i was outside, not at my computer blogging thoroughly. However
, in the coming weeks, as the season draws to an end, I will try to update you on the hip hop scenes summer activity.

May saw one of independent hip hops founding fathers release his fifth album. Strange Famous Records CEO, Sage Francis, continues his brand of spoken word poetry infused rapping with; 'Li(f)e'. The use of brackets in the title apparently being a play on words; 'life is just a lie'. The artists usual chilled and laid back production is accompanied by thought provoking and at times quite intense lyrics. Two singles have been released from 'Li(f)e', both are below.
