Firstly big thanks to Mathew 'The Organ' Mayes for asking me to hop on board this new blog, it's an honour to know he trusts my musical knowledge... crazy fool! I'm Stretch/ Blandf/ Paul (To my mum), I do a lot of djing around South Wales & the West, holding 2 residencies, Sumo & Musique respectively and an online radio show, The Boxroom on www.brap.fm

Lee Coombs has been at the forefront of techno, tech house & breaks (Techfunk if you will) for well over a decade now. This broad outlook on dance music has allowed him to solidify an immense fan base and a burgeoning knowledge of production & djing skills. His recent 3rd album release, 'Light & Dark', has amalgamated all this knowledge into what can only be described as a true lesson in Techfunk! This track from the album is quite easily the pinnacle for me, acidic warehouse stylings make for a real top of the night tune!

Knowing these next 2 acts were putting their eggs in the same basket was quite possibly the most exciting thing in music for me for some time, Moderat (Modeselektor + Apparat). This side project generated what is easily the best electronic album of 2009 in my opinion, this next track is one of many highlights off that album.
